Installing a pdf file in XSitePro

I have had several PM's on the forum on how to install a downloadable pdf file in XSitePro so here it is. Pretty simple actually.

1. Add your pdf file to the Resource Manager on the Other tab.
2. Go to the page where you want the link and select the text with your mouse that you want clickable to the pdf file.
3. Right click on the selected text and click Insert Link.
4. Go to the bottom of the menu and click Other Files.
5. Now select the file that you just added to the file manager.
6. Last thing - select the link text with the mouse and right click on the text. This will open the Link Properties box.  In the Target window, I usually put in New, so it open in a new window.
7. Publish the site.

Now when someone clicks on the linking text, it will open up the pdf in a new window.

• "save target as" if you are using Internet Explorer
• "save link tartget as" if you are using Netscape
• "save link as" if you are using FireFox
